Parents and family provide the primary educational environment for children. Students thrive when their families, are engaged in helping them learn.  
Family engagement is a partnership recognizing the collaboration between family, school, and community to make sure every single student succeeds.

CCSD FACES  provide support/information and learning sessions in the following areas:
parent-school communication, volunteering, navigating CCSD, academic resources, community resources, parent organizations, summer programs and
academic and social-emotional parent/guardian training opportunities

Parenting Project.
FREE online and in person parenting classes and support 


Offers a series of free programs to help parents be more effective in raising their children.


 Programs offered are:
 * Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) - for parents with children ages 2-11  (English and Spanish)
*  BabyCare - for parents of infants birth to 6 months of age
* Nurturing Parents & Families - for parents of children ages 6 months to age 4  (English and Spanish)
* ABCs of Parenting - for parents of children ages 5 to 10  (English and Spanish)
* Stepping Stones Triple P - for parents who have a child with a disability
* Teen Triple P- for parents of teenagers 11-17  (parents/caregivers only)  (English and Spanish)
                * Pathways Triple P -support for managing anger and stress related to parenting  ( Triple P, Teen Triple P or Stepping Stones Triple P is a pre-requisite)
 
Also available are informational seminars for parents and caregivers.
* Raising Responsible Teenagers
* The Power of Positive Parenting

Individual support is also available through our Primary Care Triple P – one-to-one parenting support sessions
